Hi guys.
Just listening to David talk about the new watch and I thought I’d add this to the conversation. Almost a year ago I switched from an Apple Watch to the Amazfit GTR 4. I think I got it for $150 on sale at the time.
Like Tim I prefer the round watch face. I have never been a fan of the rectangle watch.
A friend recommended this to me and it does everything I need. My main need for a smart watch is getting notifications for calls and messages since I don’t always feel my phone buzzing in my pocket. This watch does that and more.
It has the health features, workout tracking, apps, etc. Most of that I don’t even use. I can answer calls on it if I have that feature turned on. It even has blood oxygen monitoring and there are hundreds of watch faces available.
Battery life is fantastic. I can go 10+ days without charging. We went away to the beach this summer and I didn’t need to charge the watch all week.
The only downside is it does not let me reply to messages since I have an iPhone, but I always have my phone nearby anyway.
When this needs replacing I plan on getting the latest Amazfit they have at the time.
